I did use the leeks from the original Fine Cooking recipe, and I am slow cooking them for 7 hours on low.

Sorry, my day started at 6 am and has been crazy. I did not get a bite to eat until 1 :30 pm. My brain was scrambled! Again, sorry for the mix up with the cauliflower.
