I remember thinking "oh gads, what next." But after reading the article, it may be worth a try. With regular pasta it is so easy to throw together some interesting combinations and it usually comes out well. With the bean based pasta, it may take some intensive experimentation to get the cooking just right, so the pasta does not get mushy (I've never had mushy pasta) and to pair the bean type with the correct flavors of the sauce. Fun, fun!
