This one came from my ex-MIL whose family made it for so many years I can't even count how long. I have made them many times over the last 35 years- they are lovely and crispy and delicious. It is hard to find anise oil now but it can be found. The recipe is vague as to how much vanilla and anise oil is used but I always put in "some" :)

14 eggs
8 c flour
4 c sugar
1 lb butter
c oil
4 tsp baking powder
vanilla, anise
Beat eggs, sugar and butter. Add other ingredients until smooth. Bake on Pizzelle Iron.
