...her berry cobbler. It's in a rectangular pan with crust on bottom and top. Filling is very good to my taste. The cashier wasn't paying attention and stacked two of them vertically and when I got home, I had two smashed compressed cobblers. I managed to scrap out the filling, filled a rectangular tart pan with two stacked Pillsbury ready doughs (their suggestion to roll out a larger area and it worked perfectly) to make a slab pie, added a can of sweet Oregon cherries to her raspberry filling and topped with a strusel.
Wow...it was seriously one of the best pies I've ever made.
After I cut our pieces, Larry reached up into the cupboard and dropped a glass on the counter. It shattered and went all over the tart.
SO BUMMED. I can only find comfort in the number of calories I DID NOT CONSUME.
