I have been making sauerbraten FOREVER. And I have a big roast in the fridge on marinade for a dinner party this weekend. However, I have never had real N├╝rnberger Lebkuchen on hand from Germany when I'm making sauerbraten, and this time!!!! I do. I've always faked it, but this time, real Lebkuchen is being baked in the pan with the roast, strained, and sour cream beaten in to create the gravy. I cannot wait!!!!
