Peel fresh ginger, put in a container and cover with dry sherry (make sure ginger is submerged.) I use a 4 cup Tupperwear container. Cover and store in refrigerator.
Added bonus: use ginger spiked dry sherry in cooking.
I've kept this for over six months.
Strangers have the BEST candy. |
