I just tried this for the first time yesterday and I'll never do it any other way! Before making the cheesecake, put Reynold's "RELEASE" tinfoil over the base (bottom) of the springform. It's ok if the foil is larger than the base. Be sure the "release" side is up, so as to be in contact with the crust. Put the pan together. The foil will be sticking out. Prepare and bake cheesecake as directed. After chilling and just before serving ~ remove the springform ring, lift the cheesecake with foil off the base, and just slide the cheesecake onto a serving platter. Absolutely nothing sticks to Reynold's "Release" tinfoil. Best invention!
